An Update to Our PayPal Payment Processing
We are pleased to announce that PayPal payments at the Prime 1 Studio Online Store are now processed by Prime 1 Studio PayLink, Inc., a wholly owned US subsidiary of Prime 1 Studio Co., Ltd. By bringing payment processing into our own group, we are able to take direct responsibility for the entire experience — from your order to your payment to your delivery.

What's actually changing
The merchant that receives your PayPal payment is now Prime 1 Studio PayLink, Inc. From the switch onward, this name — "Prime 1 Studio PayLink" — will appear on your PayPal transaction history. This is the legitimate name of our payment processor; it is not an unknown charge.
For most aspects of your shopping experience, nothing changes.
What is NOT changing — please be assured

Your PayPal account stays exactly the same — same email, password, balance, and saved
cards.
You do not need to create a new PayPal account or change anything inside it. - Your order history and account at our store are unchanged.
- Our products, prices, shipping, and customer support are unchanged.

Orders, refunds, and any pending transactions placed before the switch continue to be handled by
Prime 1 Studio Co., Ltd. exactly as before.
You don't need to do anything for past orders.

Prime 1 Studio PayLink, Inc. is a US-incorporated entity (Wyoming, established 2025) and a wholly owned subsidiary of Prime 1 Studio Co., Ltd., our parent company in Japan. PayLink does not sell products directly — it exists specifically to handle global payment processing and operational support for the Prime 1 Studio group’s e-commerce business.
Do I need to do anything?
It depends on whether you have already linked PayPal at our store.
If you're a new customer or have never linked PayPal at our store
No action needed. When you link PayPal for the first time, your connection will
be set up through Prime 1 Studio PayLink automatically. You can shop as usual.
If you already have a PayPal connection at our store
Yes — please re-link your PayPal account one time, at your earliest convenience.Your existing connection was set up with the previous payment processor and needs to be
refreshed. It takes about a minute.
Your PayPal account itself is not affected — only the connection between
PayPal and our store.
How to re-link (takes about a minute)
- On the PayPal Account page in your store account, click"Unlink PayPal Account"
- The page will refresh and show a "Link a PayPal Account" button. Click it.
- Sign in to PayPal in the window that opens and approve the connection.
That's it. From the next purchase, your payment will be routed through Prime 1 Studio PayLink automatically.
What happens if I don't re-link?
We will continue to show the re-link notice on your PayPal Account page and send periodic email reminders. If the old connection is not refreshed within a reasonable period, we will automatically remove it on our side. After that, your PayPal Account page will return to the "not linked" state, and any new PayPal payment will fail with a "no billing agreement" error until you link again. We will give you advance notice by email before any automatic removal takes place, so that you have time to act. This automatic removal does not affect your PayPal account in any way — only the connection between PayPal and our store. You can re-link at any time and resume shopping as usual.
