The transition to Prime 1 Studio PayLink is temporarily on hold while we complete additional preparations on our side.
The August 31, 2026 re-linking deadline announced in this notice is no longer in effect, and we will not remove any existing connection.
This update supersedes the deadline-related instructions further down this page.
No action is needed from anyone right now.
  • If you have already re-linked — thank you. Your connection is valid, your payments will continue to be processed normally, and you do not need to change anything back.
  • If you have not re-linked — your existing connection continues to work as before. Please disregard the previous deadline.
  • Pre-orders and installment plans — payments still to come will be charged as scheduled, whichever connection you have. No order is affected by this hold.
During this period, we are operating both payment accounts in parallel. Depending on your connection, charges from our store may appear in your PayPal transaction history as either "Prime 1 Studio" or "Prime 1 Studio PayLink". Both are legitimate names of our group — neither is an unknown charge.
You may also see entries for Prime 1 Studio and/or Prime 1 Studio PayLink in your PayPal automatic payments settings. Please leave them in place — during the parallel operation, an existing entry may be used to process your scheduled payments. We will post an update on this page before anything changes again.

We are pleased to announce that PayPal payments at the Prime 1 Studio Online Store are now processed by Prime 1 Studio PayLink, Inc., a wholly owned US subsidiary of Prime 1 Studio Co., Ltd. By bringing payment processing into our own group, we are able to take direct responsibility for the entire experience — from your order to your payment to your delivery.

What's actually changing

The merchant that receives your PayPal payment is now Prime 1 Studio PayLink, Inc. From the switch onward, this name — "Prime 1 Studio PayLink" — will appear on your PayPal transaction history. This is the legitimate name of our payment processor; it is not an unknown charge.

Prime 1 Studio Co., Ltd. remains the seller of your order. Only the account that receives your PayPal payment has changed. Your purchase contract, our terms of service, and your warranty and return rights are unchanged.

For most aspects of your shopping experience, nothing changes.

What is NOT changing — please be assured

  • Your PayPal account stays exactly the same — same email, password, balance, and saved cards.
    You do not need to create a new PayPal account or change anything inside it.
  • Your order history and account at our store are unchanged.
  • Our products, prices, shipping, and customer support are unchanged.
  • Payments you have already completed, and refunds for them, continue to be handled by Prime 1 Studio Co., Ltd. exactly as before.
    You don't need to do anything for payments that have already gone through.
One important exception — payments that have not been charged yet.
If you have a pre-order or an installment plan with payments still to come, those payments are charged through your PayPal connection at the time they fall due. Re-linking is required for them to go through. Please see Pre-orders and installment plans below.

Do I need to do anything?

It depends on whether you have already linked PayPal at our store.

If you're a new customer or have never linked PayPal at our store

No action needed. When you link PayPal for the first time, your connection will be set up through Prime 1 Studio PayLink automatically. You can shop as usual.

If you already have a PayPal connection at our store

Yes — please re-link your PayPal account one time, by August 31, 2026.
Your existing connection was set up with the previous payment processor and needs to be refreshed. It takes about a minute. Your PayPal account itself is not affected — only the connection between PayPal and our store.

How to re-link (takes about a minute)

Sign in to your Prime 1 Studio account and select PayPal Account from the menu on your account page.

  1. Click "Unlink PayPal Account".
  2. The page will refresh and show a "Link a PayPal Account" button. Click it.
  3. Sign in to PayPal in the window that opens and approve the connection.

That's it. From your next payment onward, your payment will be routed through Prime 1 Studio PayLink automatically.

Please don't worry — "Unlink" only removes the authorization between PayPal and our store. It does not delete your PayPal account, remove any of your saved cards, or affect any other services or merchants you use through PayPal.

If something goes wrong

If the PayPal window doesn't open, closes early, or the connection doesn't complete, simply return to the PayPal Account page and click "Link a PayPal Account" again. If it still doesn't work, please contact our customer support team — we will help you complete it.

You may still see the old entry in PayPal — this is expected

After re-linking, you may still see an entry for Prime 1 Studio in your PayPal automatic payments settings. This is expected during the transition, and it is not a sign that something went wrong. There is no need to remove it yourself — we will clear it from our side once the transition is complete.

Pre-orders and installment plans

If you have a pre-order or an installment plan in progress, the payments still to come are charged through your PayPal connection when they fall due.

If you re-link by August 31, 2026, nothing changes for you. Your remaining payments will be charged as scheduled, through Prime 1 Studio PayLink.

If you do not re-link, those payments cannot be charged. We will email you each time a payment fails, so that you can re-link and have the payment retried. However, if a payment remains unpaid, your order will eventually be cancelled. Please re-link before your next scheduled payment date.

If you are unsure whether you have payments still to come, you can check your order history in your Prime 1 Studio account, or ask our customer support team.

What happens if I don't re-link by August 31, 2026?

On August 31, 2026, we will remove the old connection on our side. After that:

  • Your PayPal Account page will return to the "not linked" state.
  • Any new PayPal payment will fail with a "no billing agreement" error until you link again.
  • Payments still to come on pre-orders and installment plans will not be charged. You will receive an email each time a payment fails, and an order with a payment left unpaid will eventually be cancelled. See Pre-orders and installment plans above.

You can link your PayPal account again at any time, including after August 31, 2026. Removing the old connection does not affect your PayPal account in any way — only the connection between PayPal and our store. Once you link again, you can shop and pay as usual.

We will send you reminder emails before August 31 so that you have time to act.

How to be sure a message about this is really from us

Notices like this one are sometimes imitated by scammers. Please keep the following in mind:

  • We will never ask you for your PayPal password, by email or by any other means. Neither will PayPal.
  • You do not need to follow a link to re-link. You can always go to prime1studio.com yourself, sign in, and open the PayPal Account page in your account.
  • Re-linking always takes place on paypal.com, in a window opened from your Prime 1 Studio account page. If you are ever asked to sign in to PayPal on a different site, stop and contact us.
